Manufacturing Mill Fire (Methuen, MA - December 1995) » Mutual Aid Response

The mutual aid response to this incident involved 434 personnel from 55 fire departments: 26 from Massachusetts and 29 from New Hampshire. A total of 55 pumpers, 15 ladder companies, 13 rescue units and numerous other vehicles and command officers responded to assist the Methuen Fire Department. Staging was established at Broadway and Center Streets, one-half mile north of the fire. A secondary staging area was established in Salem New Hampshire for the large number of units responding from this direction.
